Product requirements
We review the intended use and customer needs. Even before technical specifications exist, implementation options and the required engineering work can be assessed.
ABOUT Arcarix
Arcarix is a Seoul-based product development business. We connect idea review, electronics, software and enclosure design with prototyping, production preparation and sourcing. Together we define the scope and deliverables so you can start with the work you need.
THE IDEA BEHIND OUR NAME
Arcarix brings together Arca, a place to hold ideas, and Matrix, where new forms take shape. We help turn your concept into designs and prototypes, and connect it to the next steps in production.
OUR APPROACH
We review the intended use and customer needs. Even before technical specifications exist, implementation options and the required engineering work can be assessed.
Electronics, firmware and mechanical interfaces need to be reviewed together. We distinguish checks that can run virtually from those requiring a physical prototype.
Prototype assembly, component availability and manufacturing processes inform the design. Production preparation includes supplier documentation, quotation requirements and inspection criteria.
Woohyun has built firmware, BSPs, camera systems and automotive software since 2015, and took part in research on reducing simulation timing deviation in QEMU-based virtual ECUs. He started Arcarix so that people without a hardware background can turn ideas into products.
This research was undertaken during previous employment. DRIMAES is the assignee of the patent listed above.
HOW WE WORK
Tell us who it is for, where it will be used and what problem it should solve. You do not need to choose components or prepare a schematic first.
We discuss what needs checking based on the features, environment, budget and timing. We also look at how design and manufacturing choices affect cost.
From that conversation, we agree on the work, deliverables, cost and schedule. The scope is confirmed before design or fabrication begins.
START A PROJECT
An early idea, a design in progress or a part you need to find. Tell us where you are, and we’ll discuss the work and next steps.
