Develop a product from the beginning, build a prototype, or ask for production preparation or sourcing alone. Your existing work and goals inform a proposal with feasible scope, deliverables, cost and timing.
Start with the users, environment and essential features. Identify what needs custom development, what can use existing components or products, and what a prototype should prove first.

Feature brief · implementation options · cost range
We can also scope a prototype for customer feedback. Technical feasibility and market demand need separate evidence.
Use off-the-shelf modules to test a core function quickly, or develop a custom board and enclosure for a product-shaped prototype. The approach follows the purpose and budget.
Electronics and circuit-board design and build
Firmware, connectivity and functional checks
Enclosure modelling, fabrication and assembly tests
Deliverables to agree
Design files · source code · prototype & test records
Device firmware and apps, websites or servers are separate work. Existing-service integration or a new app is scoped explicitly.
After incorporating prototype test results, review parts availability, assembly and production processes. Prepare the conditions needed to discuss a small run or volume production with manufacturers.
Parts list, drawings and quote request package
Supplier, quantity, price and lead-time comparison
First-article checks, certification planning and packaging requirements
Manufacturing requests begin with a consultation. The selected manufacturer carries out fabrication; orders and additional costs require your agreement.
Alternative parts and products may need samples or further testing. Purchasing, import handling and inspection responsibilities and fees are agreed separately.

WHO IT'S FOR
Product development support
for companies and founders
Teams sourcing parts or products
You need components, alternatives, existing products or a manufacturer, with purchasing conditions compared.
Requirements → shortlist → samples and purchasing terms
First-time hardware founders
You know the problem and the market, but not where electronics, parts and manufacturing start.
Requirements → prototype
Product owners in companies
No in-house electronics or mechanical team, and you want one point of contact from spec to prototype.
Spec review → design → prototype
Labs and makers
You have a dev-board prototype and want a real PCB and enclosure.
PCB and enclosure → small run
Software teams moving into IoT
The app and backend exist; you need the device that feeds them.
Chip → firmware → prototype
Teams improving an existing product
Part obsolescence, cost reduction, enclosure redesign or a production clean-up.
BOM and cost → alternates → production
HOW WE WORK
Agree on the scope.
Review the results together.
This is a full-development engagement. A sourcing-only project follows requirements, candidate comparison and purchasing conditions instead.
01
Get in touch
Send what you want to make by email or the inquiry form. One or two sentences is enough.
You · Your idea · reference photos (optional)
02
Review and reply
We review it and reply with the questions that matter. A call or meeting if useful.
You · Answer a few questions
03
Scope and proposal
A proposal with scope, deliverables, timing and cost per phase. Confidentiality, IP and payment terms are agreed in a contract before work starts.
You · Review · sign
04
Work in phases
Requirements → design → prototype, sharing results and getting your approval at each gate.
You · Approve each phase
05
Prototype and verify
Build prototypes and record test results. If something needs fixing, it goes back to design.
You · Use it · give feedback
06
Hand off to production
Package the BOM, drawings and inspection criteria so manufacturers can quote. You decide on orders.
You · Choose a maker · decide
When requirements change, we confirm the added work, cost and timing first. You review the results before deciding on the next phase or a manufacturing order.
BEFORE YOU WRITE
This is all
we need to start.
Leave out what you do not know; we work it out together. You can also attach a brief exported from a similar demo example.
One or two sentences on what to build
Where it is used and by whom
Power (USB, battery, mains)
Target quantity and rough budget
Timeline you have in mind
Reference products, photos, sketches
Existing files (schematic, BOM, 3D) — optional
WORKING TOGETHER
What people ask
before starting.
How is cost decided?
There is no fixed price list. After review we define scope and deliverables per phase and quote against them. You can start with one phase.
Can I hand over just one part?
Yes. Chip selection only, enclosure only, or BOM and cost analysis only are all fine.
What about NDAs and ownership of the work?
Keep confidential details out of the first message. Confidentiality and ownership are agreed in the contract before work begins.
How long until a prototype?
The schedule depends on the required features, engineering scope and part availability. We review these and include a timeline for each phase in the proposal.
Do you place manufacturing orders for me?
We prepare the package manufacturers need and help compare quotes. Choosing a supplier and placing orders stay with you.
Does Arcarix do all of it in-house?
The proposal identifies work carried out by Arcarix and work requiring specialist suppliers, such as PCB assembly or toolmaking, with responsibilities for each party.
